Lupe Fiasco – Nothing On You (Original Version)

This is Lupe’s original demo of what would become a huge breakout hit for Bobby Ray aka B.o.B. Obviously the quality is very terrible, especially during the choruses, but it’s interesting to hear Lupe’s take on the concept. Honestly I love his articulate but ghetto take on love songs, with Paris/Tokyo being one of my favourite hip-hop songs of all time. Even nerds get romantic sometimes

“Hello Brooklyn” Film by Greg Solenstrom. I loved this, camera projections and typography come together to bring to life New York’s second most important borough, literally painting the town with Jay’s lyrics.
